Flute
Jennifer Lindsay’s love affair with the flute began at age 10 and has spanned several decades, and she is happy to be able to share this love with students. Jennifer enjoys taking the time to get to know each student, to understand what draws them to flute playing, and what they want from their musical journey. She meets each student where they are, empowering the student to participate in developing a plan to meet their goals and then individualizing instruction based on each student’s unique strengths and needs. While focusing on fundamentals and the development of good habits, tone, and technique, she strives to make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding for students of all ages.
Jennifer is currently an active member of Prevailing Winds Flute Ensemble and has previously performed as Assistant Principal Flute of the Cobb (GA) Symphony Orchestra and with the Marietta Flute Choir, among many other ensembles and performance opportunities. She studied with Warren Little, long-time Principal Flute of the Atlanta Symphony, and has continued her life-long musical education through participation in numerous workshops and classes.
