Katelyn Smith - Preschool Director

Katelyn is a Huntsville native who moved to Auburn to earn her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. While in Auburn, she met her now husband, Jim. Upon completion of Jim's Master's degree from Auburn, they moved to Gadsden, AL for Jim's work. Katelyn became a preschool director at a local church where she served until they moved to Huntsville in the winter of 2020. Katelyn became the preschool director at Central Presbyterian Preschool in 2021. She has been a preschool director for 10 years combined. Katelyn and Jim have one daughter, Peyton. She enjoys playing with her mini-goldendoodles (Maggie & Millie), reading, and vacationing with her family. Katelyn feels blessed to have been called into partnership with the preschool ministry.
