Renee Dover

Violin and Piano

Renee Dover has been teaching violin and piano at Hawthorne since 2019. She also currently serves as the Minister of Music for New Friendship Baptist church in Union Grove. She has performed vocally and instrumentally extensively in the varied fields of classical, commercial and sacred music. Ms. Dover studied violin and piano at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she performed with The Tulsa Sinfonia, The Tulsa Ballet and The Oral Roberts University Orchestra.

Her other orchestral experience includes seven years of performance with The Walt Disney World Orchestra (Orlando, Florida) and The Space Coast Philharmonic (Cocoa Beach, Florida); The Moscow Ballet Touring Orchestra (USA Tour); seven years with The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and the Shoals Symphony Orchestra.
She has travelled on multiple expeditions to the Middle East as guest artist and solo violinist with The Creation Evidence Museum’s Israeli Archaeological Expeditions. There she performed on location at multiple Holy Sites and on-going current excavations. She is an ardent student of the Bible, its peoples and cultures, loves history and collects books and antiques.
